4 May vs. BV Northwest at Home (4-0)
The game was 0-0 until late in the first half, and that was after McEnroe nicely saved a breakaway. Shortly thereafter, Northwest penetrated the box again but shot wide. And that was it.
We finally put something on the board late in the first half off a set piece when Mallory's throw got miscleared to the top of the box for a Kelley bomb, her first goal of her career. We scored a minute later on a Heying header.
And then in the second half, we tacked on two more late. But honestly, the entire match showed the effects of senior Mass, Tuesday, etc. as we were just not crisp. We did not create a corner in the entire second half.
Northwest, however, played hard all match. They probably should have been up late in the first half, even with Mac's great save.
BWhite named Moira Kelley as the BWhite Player of the Game. She did get her first goal of her career along with staying involved offensively more and more from that holding mid spot, continuing to find feet.
We will close out the regular season, Monday with Senior Night against Miege; and then we will begin that all-important second season.
